How to Find any Vehicle's Flat Towing Steps

Question:

Next year Ill be looking for a half ton pickup that can be flat towed. Im not brand loyal. Id like to know what your installers have found to be the easiest/least expensive half ton truck to set up to flat tow?

We actually don't do a lot of flat towing setups on bigger trucks so we don't have a lot of experience with which happen to be easier or better but what I can tell you is how to determine pretty easily if one of the trucks you are considering in the future can be flat towable. Google the year/make/model of the truck plus "owners manual" so that you can pull up an online manual. Once open scroll down to the very end to get to the index and then look under the Towing heading for "recreational towing" and then go to the section. In that section will be if the vehicle is flat towable and what steps are required to do so.
