Question:
I purchased a new hallmark enclosed trailer, as I was pulling the trailer I noticed I lost all my electric to the trailer, so I stopped and realized the hookup to my truck fell down and it rubbed through. I purchased a new hookup and put the hooked the wires exactly in the battery box as they were, but I have no electric to my trailer. Any suggestions? I have a 2009 F150 Ford.

First thing I would do is test the 7-way at the rear of your 2009 Ford F150 for proper function with a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993. This will determine if the problem is on the truck or the trailer. Check out the video I attached to see how this is done.
If the voltage isn't where its supposed to be on your truck connector then most likely there are some trailer wiring fuses or relays that might be blown on your truck. You will want to inspect them and replace as necessary.
If your truck connector check out ok then the problem is on the trailer wiring, which would make me think that maybe you wired up the seven way wrong. Check out the diagram I attached and double-check to make sure its wired correctly by FUNCTION and not by color as colors don't always match up.
I also attached an FAQ article on trailer wiring for you to check out.
