Is there anything I can use to keep this from wobbling back and forth while I'm driving?

Absolutely!

I have 2 different recommendations to keep the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier w/ 2" Receiver Opening - 2-1/2" Hitches # RM95MR stabilized during travel, and it just depends on what exactly you're looking for.

If you don't have a hitch pin yet then I recommend going with the XL Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # SHP2040-XL which not only keeps the carrier stabilized but it gives you a lock so you have peace of mind with the carrier as well.

For a simple but effective anti-rattle I recommend the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-062 which just clamps around the receiver and accessory to keep everything from moving around very much.
