Question:

I have a 2020 Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel model 303rls. I have upgraded the 5200# axles to 6000#. I have added disc brakes and Roadmaster slipper springs as well. Most importantly I am running 14 ply G-rated tires. I have the original 16 6 lug wheels. Saturday I had a catastrophic wheel failure. The rim exploded sending shards everywhere. I was told that it was because I was running 90 psi cold on those tires and the rims were only rated 80 psi. I would like to purchase new wheels that can handle at least 100 psi. I would prefer aluminum for the looks but if I need to go steel i will. Do you have 16 x 6 aluminum wheels that can handle 100 psi?

We do!

I recommend going with the Aluminum Viking Series Valhalla Trailer Wheel # TA75FR which is compatible with up to 100 psi but you'll need to swap out the rubber valve stem (only rated for up to 80 psi) to the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906.

The metal valve stem can handle up to 200 psi so you can be confident in the performance and safety of this wheel and valve stem setup.
