Dexter EZ Flex Cushioned Equalizer for Trailer with 4,500 lb Axles

Question:

I am looking to upgrade the suspension on my small 4,500# tandem trailer with a Dexter ez flex # K71-652-00 solution. The axle to axle spacing is 28 1/2 and springs are 1 3/4 wide and measure 21 eye to eye. The present triangular trunion castings have the two bottom holes at 6 1/4 apart and the bottom to top hole distance measures 5. The bottom hole to top hole height measures 5 3/4. All holes are 9/16 in diameter. Would this Dexter part work or, is there another solution ? Thanks !

Based on the dimensions you mentioned the correct Dexter EZ Flex kit you would need is the part # K71-654-00 which is compatible with what you have and will do a great job improving ride quality.
