Question:

Can a 2 inch receiver hitch for bike rack be put on a 2024 crv hybrid? The bike rack weighs about 55lbs and the combined weight of the 2 bikes is 90 lbs….so a total of 135 lbs…..I’m not sure what tongue weight means. Thanks

We do have some trailer hitch fitments for your 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid, but it's worth noting that you might have to do some extra fascia trimming and the hitch may interfere with the Hands-Free Liftgate sensors.

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 for your CR-V since it has the hidden crosstube and the matte black finish - both of which add to a great-looking hitch on your vehicle.

If you don't already have a bike rack then I recommend checking out the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR which can handle both of your bike perfectly as long as they don't have front fenders.
