No Lights After Installing Trailer Plug On 2021 Toyota Highlander With Tow Package

Question:

I ordered and installed the plug and play wiring harness for my Highlander 2021 hybrid platinum. It plugged in in seconds but I have no power at the plug. It looks like there is a fuse in the correct spot but still no power to the trailer connection. It is a Canadian vehicle and I believe they all come with the townpackage? The plug was under the back bumper where it should be. Am I missing something?

The 2021 Toyota Highlanders don't all come with the factory tow package. I have installed many trailer wiring harnesses on this vehicle and I always end up having to switch to the full version for models without the tow package, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # TK99FR. I usually just recommend this option no matter what as you will be covered either way.
