Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For Carrying Bikes Behind a 2024 Honda CR-V

Question:

Can you tell me what all parts I need for carrying bikes behind my 2024 Honda CR-V? I want a hitch style carrier as I don't want to attach anything to my roof or rear hatch.

First I recommend installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 on your 2024 Honda CR-V. This will give you a 2" receiver which allows for a larger selection of bike racks. The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 is one of our more versatile bike racks as it allows you to carry 2 bikes weighing up to 65lbs each. The rack also includes a ramp to aid in loading heavy bikes and a frame clamping system for bikes which have fenders.

I recommend installing either the Curt 4-Way # C59236 if your CR-V is front wheel drive or Curt 4-Way # C56370 if you have all wheel drive. These allow you to add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to your bike rack. These lights help ensure you stay legal if your bikes interfere with the view of your tail lights.
