Question:
I am considering installing a power steering and transmission cooler for my 2006 Honda Pilot. Can you recommend which parts I should use, I am considering Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets My question is what is the difference between a class II and class III and would one be better then the other in my circumstance? Power steering cooler recommendations and instructional videos would be appreciated also? Additional information: I will be towing a 2003 starcraft popup trailer, dry weight 2200lbs

When you see Class ratings for coolers it is supposed to match the Class of hitch. But you do not have to go by that since transmission fluid cannot be cooled too much. Because of this we recommend going with the largest cooler that will fit the available space in the engine compartment.
For a transmission fluid cooler, the most popular option for the 2006 Honda Pilot is # D13503. This is rated as a Class III. To be at its most efficient the best place to mount it is directly behind the grille and in front of the AC condenser core. I have linked a video showing how this cooler installs on a 2006 Honda Pilot for you.
For a power steering cooler you can use the 2-Pass cooler # D13200. It is a basic cooler, not very large, so it will not take up a lot of space. I have linked installation instructions for it as well.
