Is Aftermarket Wiring Harness For 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe Affected by Recall

Question:
Purchased e98843 hitch and wiring kit with 4 pin wire harness from you, installed in 2020. Hyundai has issued a recall NHTSA 23V-181 for their “Genuine Hyundai Accessory Trailer Tow Hitch with 4-pin Wire Harness” requiring a new 15A fuse and wire harness. My 2020 Santa Fe had the factory trailer wiring. I can’t seem to locate information as to whether or not the issue is from the “car” side or the accessory side. Do I need to take any action with regard to the current setup with your 4-pin wiring harness?

You have no worries regarding the recall of your 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe and an aftermarket trailer wiring harness like the Curt # CU94FR.
That issue is with the module on the OEM Hyundai harness that plugs into the port.
