Can Honda Sensor Adapter Fit with 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Touring and Curt Trailer Hitch

Question:

I have a 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Touring model. I want to get the class III hitch, Curt C13397 model. I see your tech remarks about the hands free sensor functionality issue for the rear liftgate with this hitch. I am wondering if I bought this hitch from you and the Honda Hands Free Liftgate Sensor Adapter for trailer Hitch, Honda Part # 08U59-3A0-100 from Honda - would that overcome the incompatibility issue? I really want the 2 inch receiver of the Curt Class III hitch so I can mount my bike rack without issue, but also want to maintain the hands-free function of the rear liftgate. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13397 can be installed on your 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Touring with that Honda Sensor Adapter and you'll be able to retain full use of the liftgate feature!
