Question:
My car is 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited 2.4L with single exhaust pipe on driver side, I am wondering should I go for C13395 or C13171? I know C13171 is an easy installation without muffler removal required but not sure if it can fit in my 2020 Cherokee. According to the suggestion, seems like C13395 a better choice for my car but I am wondering can I install it without removing the muffler? Since my car only have one exhaust pipe, it seems like there might be some room allows me to slide the trailer hitch in from the driver side first then the passenger side without removing the muffler, is it possible? I will use the trailer hitch only for bike rack. Easy installation is my major consideration. Whats your professional comment on this?

You will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13395 for your 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited. The Receiver # C13171 is only for 2014-2019 model years. Currently we have only been able to install this on trims with the dual exhaust, but we have several reviews mentioning how easy the installation was with only having a single side exhaust. The reviews estimated the install only took 35-45 minutes with having a single side exhaust so it likely does not have to be removed.
I do recommend also installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 when you install the receiver. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 with your bike rack to ensure your tail lights are not hidden behind your bikes.
If you are needing a bike rack I recommend checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack # BA22B. This is a lightweight aluminum rack which is very easy to use. It uses wheel clamps to hold the bikes on the rack.
