The NV 2.0 hauls serious weight without flinching. Each tray supports up to 60 lbs per bike, giving e-bikes, carbon frames, and other heavy builds solid ground to ride on. The platform holds two bikes with wheel sizes from 25"–29", and the included adapter fits 20"–24" wheels. With standard straps, it fits tires up to 3.0" wide, and with the included fat bike extender, it handles up to 5.0". It’s a sturdy, ready-for-anything rack that doesn’t need frame contact to keep bikes steady.
Getting into your gear shouldn’t mean unloading everything. The spring-loaded foot lever on the NV 2.0 makes tilting easy even with bikes loaded. Step down, and the rack lowers smoothly so you can reach the back without juggling bikes. When unloaded, the same lever folds the rack up neatly out of the way, so it stays compact until your next ride.
The built-in cam system makes setup simple—just slide the shank into the hitch and turn the front knob to snug it down. Inside, a wedge expands to take play out of the connection, keeping the rack rock solid. A locking hitch pin is included and keyed alike with the bike locks, so one key secures everything. The result is a quiet, stable ride with zero tools required.
Every bike loads fast and stays scratch-free. The front ratcheting arm clamps over the tire instead of the frame, making it safe for carbon, aluminum, or custom finishes. Big front cradles and sliding rear straps adjust to different wheelbases up to 50", and the included extender strap fits one fat bike right out of the box. Loading and releasing are quick—just press the release and roll off.
When your chain slips or gears need a quick tweak, the built-in repair stand has your back. The Trail Doc mounts right to the rack, holding tubes from 3/4"–2-1/2" in diameter with a rubber-coated spring clamp that won’t scratch paint. The arm rotates for easy adjustments, locks in place, and caps off cleanly when not in use. It’s a small touch that makes big repairs a lot easier between rides.

awesome! We still love this bike rack. We also use zip ties to secure the front tire. It just helps to decrease any remaining shimmy during travel. An Obsidian cover works well to cover both bikes in transit.

Thanks for pointing this out, Larry! Whenever you carry less bikes than the rack calls for, you should start loading your bikes closest to the vehicle and work your way out to avoid stress on the rack and your vehicle frame.
