Question:
I have a 1997 Ford chassis for a 1998 Ford E350 cutaway van. It is a Class B+ motorhome, just 21 feet long. What Sumo Springs are recommended for my vehicle?

Expert Reply:
SuperSprings offers their SumoSprings in either the 500LB # SSF-106-40 or 1,000LB # SSF-106-47 for the front of your 1997 Ford E-350 cutaway chassis. While they do not have a SumoSpring for the rear the suspension they do have their Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit in either a 1,400LB # SS94VR or 2,500LB # SSA22 kit. While these do not offer the progressive cushioning like the SumoSprings they do greatly increase stability and will help to reduce rear sway. I recommend using the heavier rated options with your cutaway chassis since it carries a lot more weight than a typical van chassis.
