Suspension enhancement would be your best option since you mentioned having an aluminum frame trailer. That we've found there isn't an aluminum frame trailer manufacturer who will state that you can use weight distribution with their trailers. They just put a different kind of stress on the trailer frame.
So the best option I have would be the SuperSprings part # SSA22 which installs on the leaf spring you have now and gives you 2,200 lbs of additional suspension support.
