Question:

Two part question relative to DM9713093 and/or DM 9713045: -are the technologies for steerable axle and swivel platform similar or totally different? Is one more advantageous? -I realize that the dollies will have legal and functioning lights. Does the towed vehicle also need to have functioning lights. The Nevada rules of the road are not clear to me. it mentions that towed vehicle must have functioning lights but not when or why Thanks for your time and trouble. Great website.

The # DM9713045 steerable axle and the # DM9713093 swivel platform both help with tracking behind your motorhome. However, the steerable axle will be far superior. The swivel platform allows for some movement but your rear tires and tow dolly tires are still in a fixed position. The tires actually rotate on the tow dolly with the steerable axle, meaning you're going to have a much better towing experience with greater control. It will also allow for tight cornering when you need it. This combined with the folding design make the SS the best choice.

The LED DOT lighting package should make you compliant in all states so the lights on your vehicle don't have to function while on the dolly. Both of the tow dollies include brake, tail, and turn signals. The SS also includes front fender marker lights and the license plate marker lights. The license plate bracket can be added to the X using the # DM39VR.
