Recommended Replacement Motor For A Greystone RV Range Hood Vent

Question:

I need a fan for a greystone model cxw-30-cz01/cxw-30-cz02 range hood, 2023. Fan/motor/blade all one piece. I bought a brand new range top yesterday and the light works but the fan doesnt work. I tore it all apart, cut wires and tested fan outside of range and the fan in fact doesnt work and I cannot return the range hood because of me tearing it apart. Can you help me locate a fan please. Thanks.

Unfortunately, Greystone does not like to share replacement parts so while I don't have a confirmed fitting replacement I might have something that will work. The Replacement 12V DC Motor for Ventline, Ventadome, and Vanair Fans
# BVD0218-00 is the standard motor used in most range hoods and a lot of roof vents. Most companies will typically just buy the motors from the same manufacturer and rebrand them under their line so it's a bit more generic in this situation.

If I could see some pictures of the old motor I'd be willing to bet it's the same design. If not, then you'll probably have to reach out to Greystone directly to get their specific motor.

For the fan blade you'll want to use part # BVD0216-00 to go along with the # BVD0218-00.
