Question:

I have an older set of Yakima Sweetroll without adapters, but I am trying to use it on the square bars of the Malone Microsport trailer. It does not fit currently with the stock clamps. Would this part Yakima SnapAround Mounting Brackets SNARs - Round and Square # Y8810135 work as adapters to fit on the Malone 1-1/4inch x 1-1/4inch square bars? Thank you.

The Yakima SnapAround Mounting Brackets # Y8810135 are confirmed to fit the Yakima SweetRoll but they will not fit around the 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" bars on the Malone MicroSport trailer.

Your best option will be to use the Universal MightyMounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories # Y03590. The MightyMounts have a slightly different style than the stock clamps. This alternate style allows the MightyMounts to fit bars that are not more than 4" wide or 1-1/2" tall.
