Question:

I have a 2021 Ram 2500 Laramie with diesel and a 6'4" bed. Im looking to purchase a Retraxpro and a Yakima overhaul HD adjustable truck bed ladder rack - aluminum? and also the cross bars. My question is there anything else I need to purchase to make these 2 products work on my Ram or is there something better. Been also looking at the Bak revolver X4S bed cover as with the retraxpro I believe I loose 13. Thanks

The Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack # Y01151-5955 is specifically designed to fit tonneau covers like the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover # RTT-80232 with the accessory T-rail on the tonneau cover. The down fall to this type of cover is you do loose some bed space due to the canister the cover rolls into but it does allow you to easily move the Yakima ladder rack or remove completely when not needed. Do remember the canister does not extend all the way to the bed floor so you are not loosing as much space as you might think.

With a cover like the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK64ZR you would need the TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System # TX46NV. This has a different mounting rail which will fit between the bed rails and tonneau cover rails. The uprights for the rack are also more vertical to all the cover to roll between the uprights unlike the Yakima rack which angles in.
