I am sorry but, no, I would not recommend using the B&W 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # BW73RV with a Ram truck equipped with RamBox.

The challenge with RamBox trucks is that the bed walls extend farther into the bed than a standard pickup, which reduces turning clearance between the trailer and the truck. To safely tow a fifth wheel with a RamBox truck, you need a rotating pin box that moves the pivot point rearward and away from the truck during turns.

Unfortunately, rotating pin boxes and gooseneck-style pin boxes do not work together. A rotating pin box creates additional torque that is not compatible with a gooseneck adapter or a gooseneck-style replacement pin box such as # BW73RV.

Instead, I recommend using a traditional fifth-wheel hitch like the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Turnoverball for Ram # BW53QR paired with a rotating pin box, such as a Sidewinder-style pin box. This combination gives you the turning clearance needed for a RamBox truck while still providing an excellent towing experience.

I'll also share a real-world experience from one of our installers. He had a Ram truck with RamBox and found it to be a constant challenge when it came to fifth-wheel fitment and clearance. After dealing with it for a while, he ended up swapping the RamBox bed for a standard Ram bed. He told me the swap was actually pretty straightforward, and it opened up a lot more hitch and trailer options.
