I do have a way for you to install a 7-Way connector on your 2016 Honda CR-V.

To start off you need a 4-Way so if you don't already have that you'll need to pick up the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118561.

Now that we have the 4-Way installed you have the choice of the Complete Wiring Upgrade Kit # ETBC7 or the Simple Wiring Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. The difference is that the former gives you what you need for a fully-functioning 7-Way while the latter provides the basic trailer light functions and 12V power (so 5 functions work instead of 7).
