Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our TowSmart trailer connector. It's a five wire flat set. You're gonna get a 12-inch long pigtail and a 48-inch long vehicle pigtail. So that's right, folks. So again, a 12-inch long pigtail.
This would replace the front of the trailer connection, most likely. And then you have the 48-inch long vehicle harness to give you ample space to then connect to the trailer. And this is a five wire. You got blue, green, yellow, brown, and white. So with this, you're gonna be able to support tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, and that reverse lockout for surge brakes, which is probably most likely why you're getting a five way, is you need that fifth brake signal to get back there so you can back up a trailer or something of that nature.
Very weather-resistant. Obviously, the two parts marry together just like so, and you can push 'em together and then pull 'em back apart when the time comes. So again, folks, this is the TowSmart trailer connector, five wire flat. I'm Steven with etrailer, have a great one.
