Does Distance Between Tow Vehicle and Motorhome Need to be Factored for Flat Towing Setup

Question:
What is the ideal distance between the back of the motorhome to the front of the towed vehicles bumper in flat tow? Especially for tight-turning radii without hitting each other.

With tow bars like the Demco part # DM9511012 they are already the ideal length so you don't need to worry about having to factor that in when setting up your flat towing setup.
