Can Thule Hideaway Direct Mount Awning Attach to Side Wall of RV

I have seen this awning and TH490011 referenced in a discussion about about fitting on a 2019 Ford Transit mid roof wall mount I think. Kyle S gave this reply. According to Thule, the adapter you mentioned is not needed to mount the Thule HideAway awnings to a medium roof Ford Transit an adapter will not be needed for your van as the awning will mount directly to it. There are a couple options for direct-mount awnings, depending on the size you want: - 55 Square Feet: Thule HideAway Awning - Direct Mount # TH490018 - 80 Square Feet: Thule HideAway Awning - Direct Mount # TH490011 Do you all know if Thule still supports this? I dont see the mid roof listed in the applications for these products

The fit for the Thule Hideaway awnings part # TH490018 and # TH490011 is still the same and can mount to the side of your RV. These are a wall mount/direct mount which means it easily can attach to the outside side wall of your RV without any issue. Obviously you are going to have to drill through the wall which is a permanent modification but it will still work just fine going that route.

There hasn't been any hardware or fit info changes since my esteemed colleague Kyle spoke with Thule on this.
