Question:

I will be buying a 2024 Chevy SilveradoHD 2500 the bed is 6ft 9 inches the fifth wheel will be a 2023 Cedar Creek 377BH which is 42ft long. What is the best hitch to get for my Chevy if you can let me know make, name model and if fixed or slider. The GVWR on fifth wheel is 16238lbs just Incase you need that thanks

I looked up your 2023 Cedar Creek 377BH and since it has a tapered nose and your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500HD has a "longer" short bed you could easily get away with a fixed hitch and have enough turning clearance. The GVWR is a little over 16k so for a hitch the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3710 would be easily your best option.

The Companion hitches are widely considered to be the best around. I really like them because they are known to be super quiet/smooth, install easily, made in the USA, and are very reliable.
