I have a 2018 Ram 3500 crew cab and haul a fifth-wheel trailer. What is the weight capacity of just the over-cab cantilever portion? I have a 13foot fishing kayak that weighs 135lbs. Also, will the cabover portion clear my roof and by how much? Thank you!

I do have a couple options for you to as the Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever # TH27000XT-EX was never designed to work in the fashion you are trying to accomplish. Instead you can place a Thule Roof Rack on your 2018 Ram 3500 crew cab. You will need the WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711500, Evo Feet # TH710501 and Fit Kit # TH145106. Do be sure to verify with Ram to ensure your roof is strong enough for the full 135lb capacity of your Kayak.
You could also combine the roof rack with a Front Mount Receiver # 306-X7900 and YAkima LongArm # Y01149-1150. This will also help you to move the kayak forward to ensure it clears your 5th wheel trailer. The Thule DockGlide Kayak Roof Rack # TH896 would provide pads and straps to secure your kayak to the roof of your Ram.
