Providing Power to the Fridge
This mini refrigerator runs on AC power, the kind of power found in our homes and businesses. Since your RV runs off of a DC powered battery, you will need an inverter to turn the DC (direct current) into AC (alternating current).
The 2 popular types of inverters are modified sine wave and pure sine wave. You can use either to change your DC power to AC, but while a modified sine wave inverter will power the fridge, it won't run as efficiently as a pure sine wave inverter. This type of inverter provides you with a steadier stream of power, first pulling it from your DC battery, and then changing it into clean AC power for the refrigerator.
As long as you have an inverter with the capacity to meet the starting and running outputs of the refrigerator, you can power the fridge with your RV's battery or a generator.

Great shipping time
The delivery was fine. However, there were some dings and dents.
Everchill makes a solid line of products. I am upgrading to a larger size unit. It is worth noting that this unit can be both left and right handed even though it was not advertised that way. Easy to install - I had to drill 2 new holes in my original brackets to make it fit other than that it was a very simple install. My previous unit was a 3.5cf unit and this one was the same 19” wide just a bit taller and that gives me the extra freezer space I wanted.
We have this refrigerator/freezer installed in our 4WD van.
The appliance has worked out perfectly for us and continues to run flawlessly!
Both compartments offer generous space and hold their temperature well. We couldn't be happier.

Very pleased with the fridge. I removed my old 3.5 cu ft fridge in my Rpod and also the microwave to make room for the taller fridge. I found two holes in the rear leg to screw the fridge to the floor and then blocked in the front feet to stabilize it in the space. It started running as soon as I plugged it in and I was delighted to barely hear the whisper quiet compressor. It has been running flawlessly in over 90 degree heat and a hot trailer. I have a 400 solar array and 140 amp hr battery and there is no trouble keeping the fridge super cold. I would highly recommend it.
So far so good. Unfortunately fridges arrived a little banged up but what can you do thats a delivery issue. All cosmetic and the way I installed then you can't see it. Needed the 2 fridges for our galley and we needed to get off the dock so we plugged them in and they are working great. They have deep shelves and can hold a lot. I have veggie holders that make fragile foods like lettuce easy to take in and out so you can store stuff behind them. I am surprised that I don't have to have them on a very high cold setting they stay cold and nothing freezes. The door storage is great for beverages in cans and 1 tall bottle. The other door shelves are very small like 1 can hold a single box of coconut water. The top shelve on the door only hold things that are the size of a small vitamin bottles. I found a long clear box that fits that shelf for butter and will be on the look out for other specific sized containers. That said fridges that are all fridge and no freezer are VERY hard to find (some are so cheap these are not) and in the size I needed to fit my space. I hope they last a long time.
This RV refrigerator works great plugged it in and within 2 hours it was a chilling 38 degrees don't have it installed yet but can't wait to use it Thank You.
Dents on both sides and one at the end of the door I'll definitely not happy about that and the only thing I can say is it was four packaging and I will never order from you people again
We have been very happy with this fridge. It cools down quickly and maintains the cold well during travel. Very quiet and holds quite a bit for our camping trips. Highly recommend.
Great on time delivery unfortunately there is a small dent in the fridge

Fridge works fine, didn't really work out for camping the way I wanted it to (new camper doesn't have an outside fridge) too much to load and unload for weekend trips, but we have used it for week long trips.
