Question:
I have a Gulf Stream Vintage Cruiser UVW=4,344 lbs. I’m towing it with a Ford Explorer equipped with an E-2 Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch. I’ve checked the measurements for the hitch install and verified that it’s installed to their specs. I’m experiencing sway while traveling on the interstate, and am inquiring to see if the Reese Sway control would be compatible with my current hitch and if this would be the answer to my sway issues? Thank you

I do have an option for you but you can't add the Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control for Steel Trailer Frames part # RP26002 to the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System. There isn't really a way to increase sway control if the system is setup properly. I suggest redistributing the weight on the trailer or swapping out the system for one that offers more sway control like the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37101ET which is the upgraded version of the system you have which offers much better sway control. It will also work with your existing shank so there's less parts you have to buy.
