Removing Westin # 10-3000 Folding Ladder From Truck Tailgate

Question:
How difficult is it to remove the ladder from the holding brackets? I like the idea of the ladder but want to remove it when not in use. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
According to my Westin representative, removing two bolts will free the ladder from the mounting bracket that holds it to the tailgate. Removing the bolts should only take a minute or two. Westin does not recommend repeatedly installing and removing the mounting bracket, as it can enlarge the holes drilled into the bed and result in a loose fit.
