This ladder is holding up perfectly, exposed through all seasons on the tailgate of our plow truck. Our initial order for it arrived promptly, with awesome follow up from William @ E trailer during its delivery!
It’s strong and well built, easy to install. Only issue I see is that while the description lists all light duty trucks, it doesn’t reach the ground in some cases on my 2023 Ram 2500. When it does reach the ground, it is still a very steep angle. I’d say average product that does help me out and functions for the most part as advertised.
Easy install, very sturdy.......used it for camper tailgate entry.

Installed this on a Ford F250 SuperDuty with a bed rug already in place. Installation was very fast and easy - extend the ladder and use the 4 provided self-tapping screws to fasten down the mounting bracket. It took 5 minutes and the ladder is sturdy and secure. I use it to allow children to access the truck bed, which is too high for them to climb into otherwise. The ladder folds and stores easily in place with a latch to keep it folded.
Perfect for providing easy access to a high truck bed. I recommend it and would buy it again.

After a years use, the ladder has remained in place and works as well as day one. My 2000 Ford F250 is 4WD with OEM suspension and the ladder length is perfect.
We discovered the ladder worked great for our pickup camper. We are very happy with it. It makes it a lot easier to get in and out of our camper. The little step ladder we were using just didn't cut it. Because it folds up on our tailgate it saves us storage space.

the steps work great. The only problem is and its not really a problem is it is a bit of a hassle to hook them up to the trailer .other than that they work great.
Excellent customer service. I will recommend this company in the future.

The tailgate step is very useful and receives attention whenever I unfold and use it. I have recommended it to others needing convenient access to their truck bed.
I am pleased with the ladder that was sent. It was just what I was looking for and at the right price. The workmanship was excellent and should last the life o e the 2013 Ford truck.

First of all Kimberly was extremely helpful and patient. The foldup bed ladder makes getting in and out of the truck bed a breeze.
Ladder works well. Provides safe entry and exit of truck bed. Slight oxidation of mounting screws. Would recommend stainless versus the black provided. Ladder itself in great condition despite exposure to all weather conditions. Have recommended to many people who expressed interest.
The product is well built and the only ladder that will work with a tonneau cover. But it's too short for modern 2500/3500 4wd trucks with OEM suspension. I had to rivet steel extensions at the bottom section so that the thing would have a working angle for climbing/descending. Couldn't make the extensions too long or they would have stuck up too far and snagged on the tonneau, so the angle is still a little steep and precarious. As a result, It's not really getting a lot of use. If the manufacturer made each section 4 inches longer that would do the trick.
I have difficulty getting in the bed of my Ram 2500. I tried a couple of methods then decided to look for a commercial solution. etrailer to the rescue! The Westin Truck Pal was the answer. I feel much safer than before, I am Old - 75+, Fat, and short so I need something secure and useable. My only complaint is that I also need a secure hand hold. I suppose I was spoiled by my previous GMC Pro Tailgate with foldable handle, I miss that tailgate! I'm sure I will figure out something to make a more secure entrance and exit from the truck bed.
*** HINT*** Westin, build an aftermarket extendable handle to help us old guys get in and out of our truck beds !!!

Still working good gets in the way sometime loading when its Fold It Up but you can just fold it out of the way. Down. Need to shoot it with WD-40 or something every now and then to keep it Loose cuz its out in the weather. make sure its fold it all the way and push down if you have a tonneau cover top my folding hardtop got cracked.
I have a dual wheel pickup.....which is high off the ground at the tail gate...this ladder works great..easy to install..tucks away nicely on the tailgate....I'm 63 and 220 lbs....first time I've been able to get into the bed of my truck easily....Thanks Guys

Not tall enough for my truck. I have to put a block of wood down in some places in order for the ladder to hit the ground I wish there was one more step.

Hey Mike. Thanks for the feedback, especially about your 2023 Ram 2500, Mike. The angle of the latter will change depending on how high off the ground the tailgate is. You do want to make sure that tailgate on your truck is 38" or less from the ground.
