SumoSprings for 2026 Ford F-150 FX4 Towing Trailer

Question:

Just bought a 2026 F150 FX4 and want to level out with a 3 inch lift, in addition add on sumosprings for occasional rv trailer pulling. Question 1: do you have spacers, and control arms to lift the front ? 2: which sumospring set should I get for my rv load of 4500 gross weight.

Hi Johnny! We don't carry the front spacers and control arms needed to give your 2026 Ford F-150 a 3" lift. Also, adding a lift will affect the fit of the SumoSprings since they are designed around the factory suspension height.

If you leave the rear suspension at the factory height, I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS88UV. These have a 1,500 lb capacity which will be more than enough for a 4,500 lb trailer. They will help support the added tongue weight, along with whatever you're hauling, without having a negative impact on unloaded ride quality.

What travel trailer are you towing with your F-150?

I would recommend just a level kit for the front and 35’s will fit. Any bigger and you will struggle towing anything. I put the Sumo’s on the back of mine (front leveling kit only) and it’s perfect. I have a 16’ enclosed trailer I carry 4 dirt bikes in and it works great. Gives it just enough support so the back isn’t squatted.

@Charlie thanks for sharing your experience with this setup. Sounds like the front leveling kit paired with the SumoSprings is working exactly as intended to keep the rear supported when you're towing.
