I have a 2017 VW Golf Alltrack and need a 2inch hitch that sits 18inch off the ground. How high up does this hitch sit off the ground?

The correct EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack is part # 306-X7315. It doesn't look like we have had a chance to install said hitch yet so we don't have any measurements to provide and the manufacturer does not produce these either as it can be different for every vehicle depending on options, tire size, load, etc. That said, I have attached a photo for you which shows the location of the receiver and as you can see, it sits right inside the rear lower cutout in the bumper.

If you can let me know why you need a specific measurement I'd be glad to see if we have other options or info for you.
