Instructions for Trimming Fascia When Installing EcoHitch Trailer Hitch on 2017 VW Golf Alltrack

Question:

Other products have pdf step by step instructions, however I dont see any for this on the product page even though instructions and a video are mentioned in the comments section. My chief concern is measuring the bumper to cut the hole for the receiver.

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7315 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2017 VW Golf Alltrack. I was able to get ahold of the installation instructions for the hitch on your vehicle and found that you will need to trim a 3-7/8 inch section from the driver side factory cutout of the bumper. I have attached an image from the instructions to assist as well.

All the necessary hardware for this hitch is included.
