Question:

I need a full wire harness kit for a 2022 Toyota Sienna Hybrid, I need the full 7 pins and break controler. What part #s do I need?

To add a 7-Way connector to your 2022 Toyota Sienna Hybrid you are going to need two separate wiring harnesses. I confirmed that both of these harnesses will fit the hybrid's and regular models of the 2022 Sienna.

The first harness you will need is the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # TK69FR. This wiring harness plugs in behind your Sienna's rear tail lights and requires no cutting or splicing of wires.

The second harness you will need is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your Toyota with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.

For a brake controller, I highly recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR. This is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer's brakes when your Sienna decelerates. It has a unique installation method where the only visible portion is the control knob that's about the size of a nickel. The main unit is hidden away inside your dash to be completely out of the way and out of sight.

To complete the installation you will need the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED69FR. The hybrids do not have a port to do a plug in installation so you will need to splice some wires.

Some other parts you will need to tow with your Sienna are a hitch and a ball mount kit. I have listed the best options for both below.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e56RR is custom fit and confirmed to fit the hybrid models. This hitch has a 3,500 lbs capacity which can be increased to 5,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system. I have attached a picture below of this hitch installed so you can see what it will look like.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
