I would like to purchase a base plate a tow bar and necessary equipment to flat tow a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited behind a Motor Home. I have questions about the purchase.

I would be happy to help you set your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited up to be flat towed behind your motorhome. I will also be detailed in my descriptions to hopefully answer as many of your questions as possible. I have also linked installation videos for all of the parts listed below.

To flat tow your Jeep you will need a high low adapter, tow bar and safety chains, base plate kit, tow bar wiring kit, and supplemental braking system with a charge line.

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates item # e74ZR. This tow bar has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing, and is by far the best value because it comes with integrated safety cables. The 6,000 lbs capacity is perfect for your Wrangler Unlimited. This tow bar will be easy to connect to the Roadmaster Direct-Connect base plates.

Base Plate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM-521453-5. These direct-connect brackets are virtually invisible, easy to mount and remove, and they eliminate the need for a quick-disconnect crossbar on your tow bar. The Removable arms provide a clean factory look when not in use. This base plate kit works with the factory steel or plastic bumpers. Tow Bar Wiring Kit: I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267. This diode kit allows you to use your Jeep Wrangler's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV and has everything you need included.

If your Jeep is equipped with ParkSense proximity sensors you will need the Roadmaster Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights item # RM47ZR instead.

Supplemental Braking System: Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System item # HM39530. This one time setup system offers fully proportional braking that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset. The actuator installs out of sight and remains virtually invisible when your car isn't being towed. The controller also works as a trailer brake controller. It also comes with a charge line kit to keep your vehicle's battery charged so you don't get to your destination and find your battery is dead.

High low adapter: The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
