Question:
I have a class A and going to tow a 2024 F150 crew cab 4x4 for the first time. Id like you to recommend a complete setup for me tow with since I have no idea what Im looking at. For the F150, will I need a charge line since it will be in neutral tow mode? Id be looking for a setup that is easy to install. Thanks.

Hi Travis!
I can definitely help you get your 2024 Ford F-150 4x4 with the crew cab all set up for flat towing. You are correct in needing the charge line as your battery will be drained while being towed, so I have that included with the parts below. One thing I do have to point out though, getting your truck ready to be flat towed is going to take a bit of work. Most people wouldn't say the vast majority of these installs are easy, but they are very doable by anyone that has some basic automotive skills and is on the handy side. If you look over the parts and decide it's going to be too much, I did include a link to our dealer locator. You will need to update the zip-code, but it will show you places that can do the install for you.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM45EQ
etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates - 6,000 lbs # e74ZR
***could go with the etrailer XHD 10,500 lbs # e84ZR if you wanted more capacity***
Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit - 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter Cord # RM-15267
***Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit # RM38FR if you have a Hybrid model and/or LED lights***
Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25
Then for the easiest braking system you can go with, you will want the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Proportional # BLU37TR. You will also want the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 as this will keep your F-150's brake signal from overriding the turn signal sent by the RV. The braking system will just plug into a cigarette style outlet for power.
I know there are a lot of parts in this response, so just let me know if you have any questions about any of them.
What kind of Class A are you going to be towing your truck with?
