The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid is the etrailer # e89YR because it has the hidden crosstube but it also features a matte black finish which not only looks better, but is also more durable than the classic glossy black finish we see with other hitches.

For wiring you'll want to use the T-One # TE54FR from Tekonsha as we've found their wiring kits to be the most reliable. You can use the mounting brackets # 18144 and # C57202 to secure the 4-Way connector next to your receiver.

If you don't already have a ball mount I recommend checking out the Buyers Products Ball Mount w/ 2" Ball # 3371803307.
