I just purchased a new 2022 Ram 1500 and it has a class 3 tow bumper per the manufacturer. I would like to install a trailer hitch but I can't decide between the two available. Can you please help me choose the correct one.

When it comes to installing the perfect trailer hitch for your vehicle I recommend The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e28ZR. I like this hitch over the Curt hitch because it has an extra coating of rust resistant paint over the hitch that allows it to survive the elements better causing it not to rust as fast. The etrailer hitch has a bolt-on installation and has a maximum gross trailer towing weight up to 6,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 600 pounds. After doing some research it shows that your 2022 Ram 1500 with class 3 bumper has a towing capacity up to 6,000 pounds , but I would still recommend checking your vehicle's manual to double check the towing capacity.
