Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy 2500 Diesel. It has a towing package. Looking to install a gooseneck hitch.. There has never been a gooseneck hitch installed previously.. Need a hitch that mounts under bed and sure to need also the harness that will split off of the harness that runs to the bumper.. What all do need.. I will be installing this myself.. Would like to compare to the B&W or the Curt

Between the B&W and Curt underbed systems for your 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500, I recommend the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit item # BWGNRK1016 based on B&W's reputation in the towing business, their amazing customer service, and warranty.
The Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # C611-624 has an identical towing capacity to the B&W at 30,000 lbs and installs in basically the same way.
They both include a gooseneck ball, built in safety chain loops, and a locking pin underneath your driver's side rear wheel well to secure the gooseneck ball. Both gooseneck balls can be inverted and stored within the gooseneck receiver so you don't lose them.
Both the Curt and B&W systems have 4" offset balls for more turning clearance.
B&W - 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches item # BWGNXA4085
Curt - 4" Offset Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch item # C602
To add a 7-way to the bed of your Silverado, I recommend the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56000. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
