The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e92KR differs from the other fits for your 2003 Ford F-150 in that it has a matte black finish. This not only looks more rugged but is more durable than the classic glossy black finish we see with the other hitches. I really like this finish and recommend it as often as I can.
If you don't already have trailer wiring on your truck then I recommend the Curt T-Connector # C55344 if you have a Flareside or SuperCrew or the T-Connector # C56031 if you have something else.
To round out your towing setup I recommend picking up the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10048B because it's a solid choice that's made in the USA and backed by a limited lifetime warranty. There is also enough adjustability that you likely won't ever need another ball mount again! I do recommend securing your investment with a locking hitch pin like part # 34061075-D.
