Does Thule HideAway Awning Come In An Electric Version

The Thule HideAway Awnings, like the Direct Mount # TH490018, all have a manual operation. Since these are designed around camper vans that aren't as robust as a full-on RV Thule is trying to save on the battery life of the van. As van camping becomes more and more popular I can see an electric version eventually hitting the market but I don't have a date for that at this time. So if you're wanting to add an awning to the back of your toy hauler this is what you'll need to use.

Hello there, what he is referring to is the robustness of a camper van compared to a larger trailer style RV(5th wheels and bumper tows). They normally do not have larger battery banks, mounting areas or weight capacities. The # TH490018 will be as good of quality as you can expect from a large popular brand like Thule!
