Question:
Looking for a hitch for my 2013 Connect so I can add a bike rack. Which swing-out adapter do you recommend so I can open up my doors without having to unpack everything?

The trailer hitch I recommend installing on your 2013 Ford Transit Connect is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e94KR because of the matte black finish that not only makes it look more rugged but also protects it better from the elements than the standard glossy black finish we see on all of the other trailer hitches that fit your vehicle.
Then for a swing-away adapter I highly recommend the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away # PVP20B because it's secured and solid but still really easy to operate when you need to. This swings out to the passenger side so you're out of traffic but if the driver's side works better then you need part # PVD20B instead.
If you don't already have a bike rack I highly recommend checking out the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR because the unique U-Shaped frame makes it easier to install and remove your bikes. This is a wheel mount rack compatible with 60 lb bikes with up to a 3" wide tire so it will work with a wide variety of bikes that don't have a fender at the front.
