Question:
I have a 2018 JLU Rubicon with stock tires. Really interested in the pivot V2, but Im sure if it would be better to have passenger side or driver side opening. Which do most people prefer? And why?

Most of the time people want the pivot to swing out to the passenger side of the vehicle like what the part # PVP20B offers. This is because if you were for some reason on the side of the road and needed to get into the back of the vehicle you could swing the rack out to the shoulder side of the vehicle since most people pull over to the right side. This means you wouldn't end up swinging it out into traffic.
I am actually surprised Kuat offers the driver side version part # PVD20B since it's only one I've ever seen that swings to that side.

I have a truck camper and I prefer the driver side version so I don’t have to go around the bike while on the campsite. I guess this is the main reason for this option.
