Question:
I think I need a new axle for my 1969 Aristocrat Trailer. Do you have one that will work, see pics. Can I just update the spindles to the new sizes?

Expert Reply:
We have the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # A35RD545E you can use to replace your current axle. We do not currently carry a traditional axle that matches your dimensions and one would have to be custom made. This system includes all new electric trailer brakes and hubs. It has a 4" axle drop which places the axle center line 1/4" below the frame. Each side will bolt to the frame resulting in a independent suspension and the progressive rate springs are superior to traditional leaf springs in absorbing road shock.
It would be difficult to replace the Spindle # TRU74FR as the axle uses a steel tubing construction.
