How to Prevent Stepping Between Steps of Torklift GlowSteps

Question:

Hi I have your torklift glowstep stow n go on my camper. When they are pulled out to enable access there is a 7” gap between the step and the camper. Our dog has slipped and fallen part way through and had to be rescued and I am very worried that one of us could slip and a leg down the gap and potentially cause a nasty injury. I am thinking they are not fitted in a safety conscious manner, any ideas how to take the risk element out of using them? Thanks ??

We have the SafeStep Vinyl Barrier for TorkLift GlowStep Scissor Steps for Campers, RVs, and Trailers # TLA7602 which be a great solution for what you are looking for. This will block the area between the steps so that your foot can't slip forward and through that area. This will also block above the top step if you wanted as well.
