I do not see that Toyota offered a factory brake controller for your 2006 Toyota Tundra so you will need an aftermarket brake controller. As long as you have the factory 7-way you will be able to install a brake controller with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3040-P. This adapter will allow you to wire in a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 or the much smaller Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller for Tekonsha Harness # RED63RR if you are concerned with the looks or legroom for your dash.
