Good morning I have a V-5 Northern Stamping hitch on my 2007 3500 Chevrolet Dually. Maximum trailer weight is 7500 lbs maxx tongue weight of 1000 I will be i towing a two horse trailer that weights 3800lbs empty. Loaded would be 6000 lbs. I have a cab over camper and I need a 12 inch extension. could you please tell me the product that I need to purchase for my rig Thank you

I have something that may work for you as using a 12" Extension # 3371804015 will reduce your receiver capacity by 1/3rd. So with a maximum trailer weight of 7,500lbs on the receiver you would only be able to tow up to 5,000 with the extension.

The Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount # D900 is adjustable and will not reduce your towing capacity. This hitch has a length of 15-3/4" from the center of the receiver pin hole to the center of the hitch ball. This is our longest ball mount of this type to gain you the additional clearance that will hopefully allow you to extend your horse trailer far enough away from your camper in your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 3,500 dually.
