Trailer Hitch Receiver Capable Of Carrying a Motorcycle Behind a 2015 Toyota Highlander

Question:

HI - I just wanted to make sure I can use a motorcycle hauler with this hitch as long as I stay below the tongue weight for my vehicle it is 500 lb. Thanks!

Yes, you can use the etrailer Motorcycle Carrier # e98873 with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13394 on your 2015 Toyota Highlander. Be sure to include the weight of the carrier(58lbs) along with the weight of your bike and any Straps # SS6-SL14 (5lbs) used to secure it in place. Be sure to verify your receiver tongue weight along with ensuring you do not exceed the GVWR for your Highlander as well.

Depending on the size of your bike you may need to add some Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to the carrier if our bike impairs the view of your tail lights. You will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118449 to connect to your Highlander so that you have a 4-way to connect the additional lighting.

If you determine that your motorcycle is too big for your Highlander you can use a small Trailer # K2MMT5X7 to haul your bike.
