Question:

Dear eTrailer Personnel, I have a 2018 Nissan Frontier 2WD truck. I am considering purchasing your SumoSprings helper springs for the truck. I have a few of questions though: 1, It appears that the 1800lb and 1400lb models mount directly over the axle and replace the existing bumper. While the 1000lb model mounts off-center on the spring itself. Is that correct? 2, Do any of these helper springs provide lift in unloaded conditions? 3, What is the life expectancy of the Urethane? Thank you

Just like the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-612-47, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4L will also replace the factory bump stops and mount directly over the axle, there is no offset.

As far as actual lift goes, neither of these systems actually provide any lift as they are not designed to do so.

Finally, for life expectancy, SumoSprings does not have a finite number assigned to this however, they do stand behind their products and offer a limited lifetime warranty and will replace your springs for free as long as they are on the original vehicle.
