Question:

was looking at theSumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle - SS96EV OR SS46EV can you tell me what the length is on these two models ? want to measure the distance before it touches , know there is the spacer to make it contact sooner.

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for a 2023 Nissan Frontier, part # SS46EV for a 1,800 lb capacity and part # SS96EV for a 1,400 lb capacity, measure 4" tall and they come with a 1/2" spacer. You'll want to shoot for about a 1" gap between the jounce spring and leaf springs. If you don't want them to engage as much you can omit the spacer.

Please note, the capacity of the spring correlates to tongue weight and or payload, the closer the capacity of the load to the spring, the smoother the ride will be. In other words, don't just go with the highest rated option if you won't be towing or hauling super heavy loads.
